My husband and I booked the hotel around 11am for the Saturday evening. We arrived around 3.30pm.  Unfortunately I’d booked the night after by mistake.  The bar man and receptionist were fabulous and very helpful.  I booked it as a no refund but it wasn’t as if we’d just decided not to turn up.  The hotel was fully booked. I have emailed twice to the owner asking for a refund or at least partial as a gesture of goodwill and not received a response.  Such bad manners and a shame because the place looked great!

Had a wonderful stay. Food was excellent & staff really friendly. We did ask for a quiet room but we were on the front & the traffic noise was really bad, everything else was good.
